Company on international market of alcohol – “Russian Standard” – decided to reward the best salesmen of their goods and organized an exciting introductory trip, which included visiting places of interest in Saint Petersburg. Besides the consultants of dfm managed to visit the production departments of the company, witnessed the process of distillery and bottling of premium vodka.
The best salesmen of “Russian Standard” products are the employees of dfm at Airport Chisinau Alexander Shova, Michael Todosienko, sales manager of Duty Free at Airport Bishkek in Kyrgyzstan – Kylychbec Osmonov, Andrei Tsybulsky, the manager of the company, also attended the event.
The organization of the trip was at the highest level – personal autos, guides, best hotels and restaurants. Our guys felt like VIPs over there.
The next morning the driver took the guys to “Russian Standard” distillery. Alexander Shova: “Once we came to the distillery, it became clear for us what level the enterprise was at. We’re handed the uniform which was obligatory to wear while going to the production area. We’re totally impressed by high-tech equipment and stuff interrogation. The tour was guided by the chief technologist, who told us about the process of vodka production, highlighting all the stages in details. We even managed to see the distillation of spirit from cans. What’s interesting, very soon “Russian Standard” will not just produce spirit for the production, but also raise grain to control all the stages of vodka production in full. We could penetrate “the Brain” of the enterprise, as it’s called by the employees: a small office, where managers follow all the stages of production. Then we entered “the Heart” of “Russian Standard” with only two men in. This was exact place where vodka is filtered and gets its famous mild taste. We learned what quartz sand and filter coke were like. After that we were led to the tasting hall, where we got acquaintance with the chief technologist-taster. The master told us about flavor qualities of the product and gave us the opportunity to taste various types of vodka. During the tasting we grasped the idea of absolute distinction of products’ tastes. At the end of the tour we met the marketing stuff who shared his experience in selling. We found this knowledge very useful for us. As we left the building, we were given memorable gifts from the company.”
Michael Todosienco kept up the story of his colleague, telling about leisure time, organized by the company’s stuff for our salesmen. “Then we had a perfect dinner at the restaurant. After dinner we had a tour in Hermitage Museum, which left lasting impression in our memory. The Catherin Palace is absolutely amazing! Then we were driven to the Church of the Spilled Blood. We also had an unforgettable boat trip. Then we got back to the hotel, changed clothes and went to the ballet, where we had the pleasure to see “Swan Lake”. The supper took place at Russian vodka restaurant-museum where everything from interior to meal was filled with old national traditions. At the end we dipped into the atmosphere of night city life in one of the club.”
At the morning, July 4, the guys were taken to the airport. Such trip will surely remain memorable.
It should be mentioned that such events are true incentive to work of consultants. Knowledge received at the distillery of the leading vodka producers is effectively used for the future frowth of sales results.
